FOOT NOTE:

Tom Fonte died as an aftermath of this incident.  The toxic fumes he inhaled damaged his spleen and it had to be removed.  He needed lots of blood during the surgery and was given tainted blood.  This was before they tested for AIDS in blood.  He died a horrible and painful death.
